This little butterfly flaps her wings,
Flitting to all the little things.

She hopes for a taste of every flower,
Knowing her wings won’t ever doubt her.

She has learned to not let anyone touch them,
Because then she will die, without having even touched a stem.

But she meets someone,
and she no longer cares if she dies,
As long as it is through his eyes.
